Injectors are easy, remove the line cap nuts, gently move the line away sufficient to remove the return lines/caps as a set per side, then using a 1" socket "DO NOT BEND STEEL LINES" unscrew the injector (s). Remove the copper seal if left in the base of the bore.
That's it, you're done. To adjust the exhaust lash, turn the engine over until the exhaust valve has completed its lift cycle and the intake valve is closed about three-quarters of the way (IC). Now, the exhaust lifter is on the base circle because the piston is finishing the intake stroke and about to begin compression.Step 1: By removing the cover, we can see the common rail system. We're going to start by removing the injector pipe, When you are doing the pipes make sure that any exposed parts are capped because of the risk of contamination. Next, remove the back linkage, on this particular application you're going to have to remove the globe connector
Put a bead of sealant to the bottom of the upper valve cover about 2-3mm wide and 1mm high and install the upper valve cover. Tighten bolts to 8 Nm or 71 lbin in this sequence. Install injector lines and keepers. Now put the the FF and FICM back on and ur ready to do the driver side :U:9MQmDvK.
