Hi. I have a 08 Infiniti G35 with a push button start that powers up but will not crank and also will not come out of gear when pushing the brake. The brake lights do however illuminate while depressing the brake pedal. It has 2 brake switches one is a 2 wire switch and the other is a 4 wire switch. 2009 g37x infiniti turns over but does not start. Has Stillen exhaust so removed what I believe are two MAF sensors. 1) shut all doors unlocked. 2) lock the car with the key from the outside of the vehicle. 3) lock the vehicle with the fob by pressing the lock button. 4) unlock the vehicle with the fob by pressing the unlock button. 5) get in and start the car. To my amazement, it worked!!!!!
The weird thing is that i can start the car everything work normally but all the warning light are on so the auto start not working, electric steer not working, abs not working, and the parking brake cant be released even if j release it , its still on, so i can drive the car but i have to push hard the gas and turn hard the steering wheel.
